Summerset Grill Comparison
Sizzler · Sizzler Pro · TRL Pro · Quest · Alturi
Five grill lines from $1,699 to $6,299+. Here's how Summerset describes each one—and how to pick the right one for how you cook.
Summerset's lineup is one of the most logically tiered in the premium grill category. Every model carries the AMD Direct Gold Standard Lifetime Warranty on burners and cooking grates. The differences are in stainless grade, burner technology, and premium feature additions.
All series specifications below are sourced from Summerset's official product catalog and dealer materials.
The Lineup at a Glance
The Series Breakdown
Sizzler
Summerset's pitch: "Quality you can afford. A premium product at an unbeatable price." Constructed in 443 stainless steel.
Choose if: First-time built-in grill buyer. Weekend BBQ. Smaller patios. Want the Gold Standard Lifetime Warranty without the bells.
Sizzler Pro
Same Sizzler base with spring-assisted hoods, interior lighting, and infrared rear burner added for rotisserie work.
Choose if: Want value pricing but plan to do rotisserie. Sweet spot for most outdoor kitchens.
TRL Pro
Per Summerset, a "fully-loaded workhorse" — interior lights, exterior LEDs, rear infrared burner, full rotisserie set, flame thrower valves, easy-clean briquette burner covers.
Choose if: Step up to 304 stainless. Want every feature standard, no upgrades needed.
Quest
Top-of-line standard burners. Premium aesthetics, heavier-gauge construction. The hood weight tells you it's a different class.
Choose if: Want top-shelf without the ceramic infrared premium. Best aesthetics in the standard-burner lineup.
Alturi
Ceramic infrared main burners. 1,500°F sear capability. Glass-lit knobs with halogen interior lights. Full rotisserie kit included. The flagship.
Choose if: Steakhouse-level sear is non-negotiable. Want the closest thing to restaurant equipment in a residential grill.
The Real Decision Framework
Three questions that map to the right Summerset model:
If yes → Alturi (1,500°F ceramic infrared is the upgrade). If no → standard burner lines work great.
If yes → Sizzler Pro or above (rear infrared burner standard). Sizzler can be upgraded but it's an add-on cost.
Coastal or high-humidity → 304 stainless (TRL Pro / Quest / Alturi) ages slower than 443. Inland dry climate → 443 (Sizzler / Sizzler Pro) performs identically at much lower cost.
