White-Glove Delivery — Inside Placement, Setup & Packaging Removal

PREMIUM DELIVERY OPTION

White-glove delivery.

Inside-the-gate placement. Light assembly. Packaging removal. The closest thing to a real installation experience.

Standard freight delivery is curbside-only. The carrier drops your order at the end of your driveway and that's it. For most products, that's fine. For 600-pound BBQ islands and 180-pound outdoor sectionals, it's a problem. White-glove fixes that.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

The full service.

INSIDE-THE-GATE

Driveway, side yard, patio, or backyard — wherever the unit lives.

FINAL PLACEMENT

Set on your concrete pad, deck, or paver patio in the exact spot.

LIGHT ASSEMBLY

Legs, feet, and basic component connection if the product needs it.

PACKAGING REMOVAL

Crates, foam, cardboard, plastic — all hauled away.

TWO-PERSON TEAM

These items are heavy. We send the help.

SCHEDULED WINDOW

Carrier confirms a 4-hour delivery window in advance.

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED

  • Installation — gas line connection, electrical hookup, plumbing must be done by a licensed contractor (see installer guide)
  • Stairs over 5 steps — contact us before ordering if your patio is up multiple flights
  • Crane or lift service — for roof decks or above-ground patios, quoted separately
  • Removal of existing equipment — your old grill or sectional needs to be moved before delivery

WHEN TO ADD IT

Five situations where it's worth every dollar.

  • BBQ islands over 400 lbs (most of them) — nearly mandatory.
  • Patios more than 30 feet from your driveway — muscling a 600-pound island across gravel will damage it.
  • Roof decks, raised patios, or anything not at ground level — ask first; we may need a crane quote.
  • HOA buildings with elevator restrictions or freight elevator scheduling — we coordinate with the building.
  • You don't have two strong friends free on delivery day — these items take 2–3 people to move safely.

WHY IT COSTS WHAT IT COSTS

A 600-pound BBQ island ships LTL freight on a pallet. The standard freight rate covers a curbside drop — the driver lowers the pallet to the ground, hands you a clipboard, and leaves. That's it.

White-glove is a different service. Two delivery agents schedule a window with you, navigate the unit through your gate, set it on your patio, remove the crating, and haul the debris away. An hour or more of two-person labor on top of the freight cost.

For a $5,000 BBQ island, white-glove is the difference between a great unboxing and trying to drag 600 pounds of stainless steel through your side gate by yourself. Most buyers add it. Worth every dollar.

HOW TO ADD WHITE-GLOVE

Choose it at checkout, or have us add it manually.

White-glove appears at checkout on eligible items. If you don't see the option but want it, email support@upscalehomehq.com and we'll add it manually.

For pre-purchase questions about feasibility (steep grade, narrow gate, multi-level patio), send us photos before you order. We'll tell you straight whether white-glove is enough or whether you need additional logistics.
