Who are you and where are you based?
Upscale Home HQ is a U.S.-based authorized dealer for Cal Flame, Summerset, and HomeRoots. We focus exclusively on premium outdoor living — BBQ islands, grills, fire features, and patio furniture. No bedroom, bathroom, or general home goods. Just outdoor, done well.
Are you actually authorized?
Yes — our Cal Flame authorization runs through Lloyd's Material Supply Co., Cal Flame's authorized distribution partner — verifiable with Cal Flame at 800-225-7727. We're also authorized for Summerset and HomeRoots, and we can provide authorization confirmation on request. This means full warranty support, MAP-protected pricing, and real parts access for the lifetime of the product. Why this matters
Do you have a physical showroom?
We're online-only, which is how we keep prices sharp. We connect you with the manufacturer's network of nearby physical showrooms if you want to see a product in person before buying.
Why buy from you instead of Amazon or Wayfair?

Ordering & Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, plus financing through Affirm, Klarna, and Shop Pay Installments. 0% APR promotional financing is available to qualified buyers — your exact rate shows before you commit. Financing details
Can I cancel or change my order?
Yes, if it hasn't shipped yet. Email us within 24 hours and we'll cancel with no charge. Once the manufacturer cuts a release order, cancellation may incur a restocking fee — typically 25% on built-to-order items like Cal Flame BBQ islands.
Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax is calculated based on your shipping state and applied at checkout per state law. Resellers and tax-exempt buyers can email us before checkout to apply exemption.
Do you price match?
Yes — against any other authorized dealer's published price. Send us the link, we verify the seller is authorized and the item is in stock, and we match it. We don't match gray-market or unauthorized resellers. Full policy
Are there any hidden fees?
No. Free standard freight on every order. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay (plus any state sales tax). Optional white-glove delivery is the only add-on, and it's clearly priced separately.

Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship?
Continental U.S. (lower 48 states). Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories — contact us for a custom freight quote. We don't currently ship internationally.
How long does shipping take?
Depends on the product. HomeRoots: 5-10 business days. Summerset grills (in stock): 2-3 weeks. Cal Flame grills: 2-4 weeks. Production lead times vary by build and are listed on each product page — typically 6-12 weeks door-to-door for made-to-order islands. Full lead time table
Is shipping really free?
Yes. Free standard freight (curbside) on every order, every time, every product. No minimums, no exclusions. White-glove delivery (inside placement, packaging removal) is an optional add-on.
What if my item arrives damaged?
Document it BEFORE you sign the delivery receipt: photograph all sides of the crate, note damage on the BOL, then email us within 24 hours with photos. We file the freight claim and re-ship the damaged item at no cost. Signing 'clean' without inspecting essentially voids freight claim eligibility — don't do this.
Will the carrier bring it inside or assemble it?
Standard freight is curbside only — the driver brings it to your driveway. For inside placement, light assembly, and packaging removal, add white-glove delivery at checkout. Pricing

Products & Brands
Natural gas vs liquid propane — which should I get?
If you have a natural gas line at the install location, choose NG — you'll never run out and you'll save money long-term. No NG hookup? Choose LP (liquid propane) and use a 20-lb tank. The grill itself is configured at the factory — NG and LP aren't interchangeable without a conversion kit.
Can I customize a Cal Flame BBQ island?
Yes — lots of customization options on color, finish (stucco/stone/tile), and component layout. The product page lists standard configurations; if you want something different, email us with your spec and we'll get a custom quote from Cal Flame within 48 hours.
What's the difference between G-Series and P-Series Cal Flame grills?
G-Series is the entry-level (still 304 stainless, lifetime burner warranty). P-Series adds an infrared rear burner (rotisserie), interior LED lighting, and bumps the major-component warranty to 5 years. Full comparison
Do you offer design help?

Warranty & Returns
What warranty comes with my purchase?
Cal Flame: Lifetime burners, 5-year major components (P-Series & up), 2 years on G-Series majors. Summerset: Lifetime cooking surface, 5 years major components. HomeRoots: 1 year manufacturer warranty. All warranties are honored because we're authorized dealers. Full warranty details
How do I file a warranty claim?
Email us with your order number and a description plus photos of the issue. We coordinate with the manufacturer's warranty department and ship replacement parts directly. You don't deal with the manufacturer — we handle it.
Can I return my order if I change my mind?
Returns are evaluated case-by-case for unused, uninstalled items in original packaging — within 30 days. Built-to-order Cal Flame BBQ islands are non-returnable once the manufacturer begins production. 25% restocking fee may apply. Full return policy
What if a part breaks 3 years later?
Email us. As an authorized dealer, we have direct access to the manufacturer's parts department — burners, valves, knobs, ignitions, glass panels, gaskets. Most parts are still available 10+ years after purchase.

Builders, Designers & Pros
Can you ship to multiple addresses for builder or contractor projects?
Yes — common for builders and contractors doing multiple installs. Email us with the order details and ship-to addresses; we coordinate with the manufacturer for split fulfillment.
Do you offer install support?
We don't physically install, but we provide install specs, gas line requirements, electrical specs, and venting requirements for everything we sell — plus phone support during your install if you hit a snag. We work with builders and licensed gas pros across the country and can usually point you to local recommendations.
Do you offer multi-project quoting?
For builders and pool contractors with multiple builds in the pipeline, email us with the project list and timeline. We'll work with the manufacturers on coordinated production scheduling and project-level quoting.
