Patio space is the first filter. A 34" Aloha fits where a 78" Hawaiian or Maui can't. Measure your usable patio + 36" clearance on all sides before picking.

Lounger vs bench is the second filter. Lounger = stretched-out recovery position for 1 user at a time. Bench = equal seating for entertaining. If 1 person dominates spa use, get a lounger. If you host parties or have a big family, get the bench (Maui).

Upgrade path matters. Aloha and Balboa don't support the 1HP blower or Bluetooth sound. Kona, Hawaiian, and Maui do. If you'll want air jets or music later, start there.

Pad weight is real. The Hawaiian/Maui at 3,577 lb filled requires concrete or reinforced deck. Many wood decks need reinforcement first — request the spec packet before ordering.
